Anyway… As I said before, things have been SO CRAZY of late that I really haven’t had time to turn around in a corner, let alone anything else!

As most of you know by now, I’m DJ’ing for Pheonix Radio.net under the name “DJ SilverFox” and playing some of the hottest indie, and unsigned artists from around the world! I’m actually on air 3 days a week, Wed, Thurs, and Friday Mornings from 11am to 1 pm EDT.  If you’re interested in hearing the show, just click on the link in this post for Pheonix radio, and they can help you get set up to listen to the stream from the server, and recommend some great software to use to get it!

Alvin and I are shelving Will’s Place Radio. It’s not because we want to… but our schedules are majorly conflicting now, and it’s just waaay to much to try and keep up with three radio shows a week, plus the podcast. I hate to see it go… I really do. It’s how I got into this stage of my life…LOL! but time marches on, and things change.

We’re working on an idea presented to us by DJ Spring Moon to place a news show into the lineup for the station. So, if that comes to pass, we’ll be turning over the WPR blog for that purpose, and posting our shows there, along with the station running them as well. We’re also looking to hook up with folks from around the world that would like to become “in print” reporters, and possibly “on air” reporters as well for this program! Wow, it’s been almost a month since my last post….

I guess I shouould be kicking myself for that, but to be totally honest, I’ve been really busy of late.

I’ve now begun hosing shows on Pheonix Radio 3 days a week. I can be heard Wed, Thurs., and Friday mornings from 11am to 1 pm EDT, or 6pm to 8pm Brittish Daylight Time. So, it’s been a little crazy of late…

Work has gottne much busier too, with the college students coming back into town. So, we’re trying to cover bases for that as well. And, it seems that I’ve also been able to move on in my personal life as well.

She’s a fantastic person. and I…I’m a very lucky man ot have her in my life. She’s just what I needed. and more.

Hopefully soon, she’ll be posting here as well!

and the mall is calling my name at 4:45 am, so I’m off to bed. I’ll be back tomorrow with an actual real post, I hope!

Haven’t forgotten about the is thing! just been really busy of late! will post more tonight!!!!

Well, it was definately an interesting weekend!

I hadn’t anticipated being off yesterday. Illnes will do that to you…But feeling much better now! and I’m also quite exited!

We’ve FINALLY ordered our semi-pro set-up for podcasting equipment. It’s only taken us a year to get this done now… It was ordered last night, so we’re expecting it here by as late as Friday, but were hoping earlier than that… We got a killer deal on it. I was surprised! As of 3:50 am this morning, it’s being prepped to ship by the company. Hopefully, (we’re keeping fingers crossed here) it’ll be here Wednesday. But, we’re gonna have to order a USB interface to hook it up to the laptop… So it’ll be a few more days before we’re officially up with the new equipment.

We finally broke over, and placed a donation button on the PodOmatic site. Hopefully, a few folks will take pity on our show, and send us some duckets to replace the funds we put out for the equipment. And who knows, we might even be able to kick a few to the folks at pheonix… Server costs are expensive for a net radio station…And, Phoenix could use the help!

We’ve finally gotten our first show together for Pheonix Radio…

It took some time to get the thing all wrapped up… In fact I was up until 2 am this morning editing, and placing tracks in the right places to get this thing out to Spring Moon and the clan over there in the UK! (By the way, they’re 5 hours ahead of us, so they received it at like 7:15 am this morning.)

I just hope they find it usable! (nervous laugh)

We’ve had to go in, and change up the format a bit… We’re now using all indie music…Sorry folks but RIAA is a big concern to us here, and we really had no choice. Besides, there’s much better stuff in the indie area thean there is on broadcast radio really.

We’re in the process of gathering those funds to order a set of equipment asap. which in turn will help the sound quality by leaps and bounds! We know it’s gonna sound like hell, and we do apologize for it in advance.

Now, on to the podcast side of this show….

Show #16 is it’s official number, and will be posted after it’s had it’s first run on Pheonix Radio. Not to worry, we have the file here, and ready to post to both podomatic, and the WPR Blog as soon as it’s finished it’s first air on the station.

Now I bet you’re asking how you can listen to that first aring huh? Well I’m here to help with that!

Shoot on over to http://pheonixradio.net and check out the ways to get the stations stream! You can download a copy of Winamp there, along with installing a codes for Windows Media Player, but I highly recommend the Winamp download. It’s much easier to get to the stream that way. Spring Moon, and Her hubby Pete have all the instructions to place the stream’s url into Winamp, and you’ll be listening in Minutes!

We’re waiting for the folks there to give us a general time of first airing. When we get that, we’ll update this post, and also place it on the WPR Blog. This way, you get a chance to hear the show on their station!

About an hour after the show, we’ll release the podcast form for download onto PodOmatic, and place a copy on our blog at WPR.

We’re still working out the rest of the details, so just bear with us as we go through theis growing process. But we think it’s gonna be GREAT!
